AirbyteAds (“AirbyteAds”, “we”, “us”), a product of Airbyte Technologies, helps you create, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram) using AI. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how you can delete it — including data we access from Meta on your behalf and with your authorization.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who visits airbyteads.in, creates an account, or connects a Meta (Facebook) account to AirbyteAds.
2. Information we collect
a) Account information
- Your name, email address, and (optionally) company name
- A securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text)
b) Meta (Facebook & Instagram) data — accessed with your permission
When you connect your Meta account, we receive and process only the data needed to run the features you use:
- An access token that authorizes us to act for you (stored encrypted)
- Your ad accounts and their campaigns, ad sets, ads, and performance insights
- Your Facebook Pages and connected Instagram accounts
- Content and posts you create or publish through us, and comments/messages when you enable automation
- Audiences, targeting settings, pixels/events, and lead-form data you manage
c) Content you provide
- Ad copy, captions, and any images or videos you upload to create ads or posts
d) Your own AI key (optional)
If you connect your own OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic key for AI features, it is stored encrypted and used only to run AI requests for your account.
e) Usage & technical data
- Log and activity records (audit logs), IP address, and basic device/browser information — used for security and to operate the service
f) Payment information
If you purchase a paid plan, payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your card details.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the service — creating and managing your ads, pages, posts, and reports through Meta’s official APIs
- To power AI features you request (using your own AI key where applicable)
- To authenticate you, keep your account secure, and prevent abuse
- To provide support and to send you important service or account notices
- To process payments and manage your plan
- To comply with legal obligations
4. How we handle Meta Platform data
We only use Meta data to provide the features you actively use in AirbyteAds. Specifically, we:
- comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies;
- do not sell your Meta data, and do not use it for our own advertising or profiling;
- do not share it with unauthorized third parties;
- keep it only as long as needed to run the service, and delete it when you disconnect or request deletion.
5. When we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:
- Meta Platforms — through the official Graph & Marketing APIs, to perform the actions you request
- AI providers (OpenAI / Google / Anthropic) — only when you use AI features, using your own key
- Email provider — to send verification and account emails
- Payment processor — to process payments if you buy a plan
- Hosting / infrastructure — to run the platform securely
- When required by law, or to protect our rights and users’ safety
6. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Meta access tokens are kept until you disconnect your Meta account. When you delete your account or request deletion, we remove your personal data and Meta data within 30 days (except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations).
7. How we protect your data
- Access tokens and AI keys are stored encrypted (AES)
- All traffic is served over encrypted HTTPS
- Access controls ensure each account can only reach its own data
8. Your rights & choices
- Access & correct your information from your account settings
- Disconnect Meta at any time — this revokes our access to your Meta data
- Delete your account and data (see below)
- Withdraw consent by disconnecting or closing your account
9. Data deletion
You can request deletion at any time in three ways:
- In-app: disconnect Meta, then delete your account from Settings;
- Email [email protected]; or
- Via Facebook (Settings → Apps → remove AirbyteAds), which triggers our automated data-deletion process.

10. Cookies & local storage
We use only essential cookies / browser local storage to keep you signed in and to run the app. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
11. Children
AirbyteAds is for business use and is not intended for anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; we’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you.
